DIALECTIVE

SYNOPSIS
DIALECTIVE is a fashion collective startup in New York City that celebrates a new generation of independent designers with distinct and radical visions. As part of their mission to foster community and solidarity in the fashion industry, the collective provides upcoming graduates and emerging designers with unique opportunities like showrooms at NYFW and exclusive membership benefits.

I was responsible for designing DIALECTIVE’s full-stack website using Webflow, ensuring it showcased the designers, hosted blog posts, and integrated donation and recruitment systems. The E-commerce functionality I implemented streamlined ticket sales, leading to a notable boost in traffic and over 400 tickets sold within a week.

DIALECTIVE

DIALECTIVE is a New York City-based fashion collective that empowers emerging independent designers through community-driven support, creative showcases, and exclusive opportunities like NYFW showrooms.

Landing Page

The user is greeted with a brief introduction of the company, their mission statement, and values.

Links to all new content is highlighted in the slideshow at the top of the page.

Showcase

The main aspect of DIALECTIVE-- the showcase. Used Webflow's CMS feature to easily manage and update a database of 40 designers (and growing).

Designer Pages

Each designer has their own page, featuring process work, a paragraph description of their work, social media links, and final runway looks from the DIALECTIVE runway show.

Mission

A more in depth page explaining their mission, their 501c3 nonprofit status, and a further explanation of their fashion maker space.
